Klaym uses the Strava API to import your outdoor activities. Your GPS routes are used to claim hexagonal territories on the map — this is the core game mechanic.
Go to Profile → Settings → Disconnect Strava. This removes your Strava OAuth tokens from Klaym's servers. Your existing activities and territories are not deleted — only future syncing stops.
You can also revoke access directly on Strava at strava.com/settings/apps.
Klaym does not read your Strava followers, kudos, photos, heart rate, or payment information. We never write to your Strava account.
On iPhone you can also sync workouts directly from Apple Health without Strava.
Go to iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Klaym and turn off all permissions. Alternatively, delete the Klaym app.
Klaym requests read-only access — we never write workouts to Apple Health.
Strava activities are synced automatically via webhook — they usually appear within 1–2 minutes of your Strava upload. If an activity doesn't appear:
League standings are populated once you have at least one synced activity and an active season is running. Pull down to refresh the Liga tab. If the issue persists, disconnect and reconnect your Strava account to re-import your activities.
Territories decay if you don't run through them for 7 days. You'll receive a push notification 24 hours before a hex expires. Simply run through the area again to reset the decay timer.
Your league tier (Bronze → Diamond) is set when you first connect based on your average weekly Effort Points over the last 30 activities. To re-evaluate your tier, disconnect and reconnect Strava. Your points and territories are preserved.
Klaym never sells your data. Activity data is used exclusively to power the game — Effort Points, territory claiming, and league rankings.

Go to Profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. This permanently removes your email, name, activities, territories, and all associated data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
